The Jackson Swim Team has been developing outstanding competitive swimmers for many years. Its mission is simply stated: To help each athlete achieve their full potential as a swimmer and in life. The pursuit of that mission is implemented in a well-designed program that emphasizes team spirit and dedication to the team's goals, and progressively trains swimmers, physically and mentally, from the fundamentals to the achievement of excellence. The success of our program is built upon the hard work of our swimmers, team parents and coaches.
With commitment and perseverance we will strive to inspire great character and integrity for life through the sport of swimming.

We Need All Parents to Help in Order For The Meet to Run Smoothly.
If You Would Like to Volunteer to Assist in Consignments (the sale of swimwear, clothing and other items), Please Contact Janice Oberman at 573-243-2600.
If You Would Like to Volunteer Your Assistance in Concessions, Please Contact Jennifer Schneider at 573-275-0581 or Lisa McArthur at 573-833-6161. You will also be getting note (paper form & email) at the beginning of the week asking you to donate an item for our concession stand.
If You Would Like to Volunteer For Any of The Following Duties, Contact Bernie Gard at 573-243-0780:
Hospitality (provides coaches, officials and volunteers drinks as needed)
Clerk's Area (placing stickers on ribbons and placing ribbons in team boxes)
Bull Pen (arranging swimmers in order prior to their arrival at start blocks)
Card Runner (retrieves card from timers after event for clerk's area)
Heat Winner (provides prize for each heat winner after race)
Head Timer (starts back-up stop watches in the event of a timer malfunction)

Order Your 2009 Southeast Missouri Swim Conference Championship T-Shirt. Front of the shirt has the below design and all swimmers names who participate in the Championship Meet will be listed on the back. Deliver form and a check payable to JST to a coach no later than July 16th at 12 pm.

Swim MeetsFor each swim meet, the coaches will be choosing the events your child will be in. If you are NOT planning on attending the meet for the weekend, please email the coaches by Wednesday noon. Otherwise your child will be scheduled for events. Also if you have special requests (time constraints, or events) please email the coaches by Wednesday noon also. Information

Jackson Swim Team Practices Every Morning Weather Permitting.
If The Weather Appears Inclement And You Are Unsure, Call The Pool @ 243-8343.
Practice Schedules Are As Follows:
Advanced Swimmers: 6:45 a.m.-8:45 a.m.
Intermediate Swimmers: 7:45-8:45 a.m.
Beginning Swimmers: 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
